DAY 1 - FELLOWSHIP: November Challenge

Thanking God for His fellowship & Praying for the fellowship of His people

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. - 1 Thessalonians 5:18 NLT

Let's dedicate this month to daily giving thanks to God. Additionally, let's focus each day on one topic of prayer and one person who needs Jesus. We will praise, pray and intercede every day for this is God's will for us. To help, we will post a meme, scriptures and a podcast.

  1. Praise - God for the fellowship you have with Him. Thank Him for the sacrifice of his Son Jesus, the cross and resurrection that restored your relationship. Praise Him for the veil removed, that you can come boldly to His throne of grace and speak with Him. Nothing separates you from His love.

  2. Pray - for God's people to not neglect fellowshipping, coming together, so that we can encourage one another. Ask God to help you find people to encourage today, this week, this month. Petition the Lord to help the people in your church find ways to build each other up, meet each other's needs, reach out to those in isolation, and give from our resources.

  3. Intercede - for one person you know that needs Jesus and His fellowship. Keep them in mind all day. Pray for them to discover the amazing love of God.

Scriptures:

  • 1 John 1:3 NIV: that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

  • Romans 5:8-11 NIV: But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

  • 1 John 1:6-7 NIV: If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

  • Heb. 10:25 NLT: And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
