But GOD, is our provider. His name was and is and will ever be Jehovah Jireh, our provider. When Abraham was getting ready to sacrifice his son, out of obedience to God, he trusted the Lord would provide a lamb and so He did. Think about all the times the Lord has provided for you and your family. Thank Him for it. Write it down. Think about it often. So whatever happens in the future, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. We can trust our Abba Father to be our Shepherd.

Prayer Points

  • The greatest provision God gave was the Lamb of God who took away our sins, His Son sacrificially and lovingly

  • For people to put their trust in God not in possessions so that revival may come

  • For prayer to rise in people to see that God cares for the birds and flowers so He will take care of them

  • For people to seek first the Kingdom of God, praying for others all day, finding ways to share their faith, encouraging other believers, standing out, being different

  • That we would recognize God is bigger than our little. He loves to do the impossible and can make wine out of water, feed thousands of people with a few loaves of bread and fish

  • People would focus more on what God wants than on what they need, knowing that He will supply EVERY need according to HIS riches in glory

  • We would remind each other often of how God has provided and how He owns a cattle on a thousand hills.

  • For fear to turn to trust in His people and not get distracted by the cares of this world but by the concern for the lost, broken, hurting and poor
