NEWS RATINGS: Most come close to alarming, frightening, foreboding, depressing. But we have the GOOD NEWS!

But GOD, His plans stand firm forever. His intentions can never be shaken. - Psalm 33:11

Prayer Points

  • Thank the Father for His plans; they are good and ordered, firm and sure. Nothing can shake His intentions

  • That we can trust Him with our lives, our future because He planned even before our mother's womb

  • For us to recognize we can plan but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails

  • God has plans for us to prosper us and not harm us with a future and hope (though we may go through suffering, it will be temporal) For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. - 2 Cor. 4:17-18

  • People would trust His plans and seek to follow them

  • Pray the scriptures below

Scriptures:

Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.

Jeremiah 29:11- For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Isaiah 14:26-27 -This is the plan determined for the whole world; this is the hand stretched out over all nations. For the LORD Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?

Isaiah 46:3-11 - “Listen to me, you descendants of Jacob, all the remnant of the people of Israel, you whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born. 4 Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. 5 “With whom will you compare me or count me equal? To whom will you liken me that we may be compared? 6 Some pour out gold from their bags and weigh out silver on the scales; they hire a goldsmith to make it into a god, and they bow down and worship it. 7 They lift it to their shoulders and carry it; they set it up in its place, and there it stands. From that spot it cannot move. Even though someone cries out to it, it cannot answer; it cannot save them from their troubles. 8 “Remember this, keep it in mind, take it to heart, you rebels. 9 Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. 10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’ 11 From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do.

Amos 3:7 - Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.

Philippians 4:6 - being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Proverbs 16:9 - In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.
